Saturday, October 29th, 2033: Milwaukee Brewers Take World Series
The 2033 United Kingdom Baseball League season came to a close today at Miller Park, where the Milwaukee Brewers whipped the Baltimore Orioles 1-0 and won their 3rd World Series in history.

Saturday, October 29th, 2033: Baltimore's Mashuhuri Down with Injury
Baltimore has lost starting pitcher Zewde Mashuhuri for at least 4 weeks. He was hurt in a game against the Brewers while colliding with a player at a base and sustained a scratched cornea. His doctors said Mashuhuri will probably be out the rest of the year.

In pitching stats this season Mashuhuri has rung up 14 wins and 5 losses in 22 games. He has an ERA of 1.97 and has fanned 143 batters in 169.1 innings.
Wednesday, October 26th, 2033: Rutherford Injured in Freak Off-Field Accident
Accidents happen to everyone -- even good athletes like Lewis Rutherford of the Orioles. The Baltimore left fielder got hurt when he cracked his molar on a sesame seed roll yesterday and now will have to take some time off to recuperate and heal. Rutherford will be sidelined for up to 2 weeks with an undisclosed injury.

Rutherford is currently batting .306 with 34 home runs and 117 RBIs.
