Saturday, October 1st, 2033: Lawless Collects NL Pitching Award
When Robert Lawless takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Cincinnati Reds. At least that's the way it was in May.

He excelled with a 4-0 mark and 2.09 ERA in 6 starts. In 38.2 innings, he fanned 35 and walked 10.
That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the National.

In 2033 Lawless has compiled a 11-12 mark with a 3.86 ERA in 32 starts. In pitching 196 innings he has 181 strikeouts and 82 walks while limiting the opposition to a .253 batting average.
Monday, September 26th, 2033: NL's #1 Player, Flores of Cincinnati
21-year-old Francisco Flores dominated the Cincinnati headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and National officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.

He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Flores collected 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 10 runs.

Thus far this season Flores is hitting .328 with 23 home runs, 61 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has 84 hits in 256 at-bats and has played in 71 games.
Monday, September 12th, 2033: Vercher Takes This Week's Trophy
There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Bryan Vercher, the Cincinnati second baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the National Player of the Week honors.

Vercher piled up 11 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run and 8 RBIs while hitting .500.

So far this year Vercher is hitting .303 with 8 home runs.
