"Good pitching beats good hitting" is an old baseball adage.

Well, good pitching also beats bad batting.

In his postgame interview the Minneapolis manager said, "Héctor Lugo made us look real bad today. He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking."
