Friday, November 11th, 2033: National Picks Top Rookie
Willie Coleman, the rookie center fielder for the Mets, assured himself of a place in National history with an outstanding performance in the 2033 season. He now has a place reserved for him in the league record book under "Rookie of the Year."

The 23-year-old New York (N) newcomer took the trophy by hitting .364 in 151 games this season and finished with 223 hits, 8 home runs, 63 RBIs and 103 runs scored.
Saturday, October 1st, 2033: Braves Chill Coleman's Hot Streak
Willie Coleman, center fielder for the New York (N) Mets, gave it a good try, but his day in history finally came to an end, when he went hitless in 5 tries against the Atlanta Braves. Not only had they stopped his 24-game hitting streak, they had beaten New York (N) 7-4, too.

Speaking with the media after the game, Coleman said, "Now that the streak has ended, I admit I will breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat. It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate."

This year Coleman has hit 8 home runs and posted a .363 batting average.
Saturday, October 1st, 2033: National Names Rookie of Month
Willie Coleman is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest National Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.

In September the New York (N) hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .440 average with 51 hits, 1 home run and 12 RBIs.

This year Coleman is hitting .367 with 221 hits, 8 home runs, 63 RBIs and has scored 103 runs.
