| Breaking News | | Thursday, September 29th, 2033: Rangers Carreiro Strong-Arms Royals After his 5-0 shutout win against the Royals, Siro Carreiro said, "I went out there to try and eat up innings and help out our bullpen. I felt I had my good stuff... and it turned out my command was solid and my breaking balls were good."
They were better than good as the Rangers pitcher put up 10 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 6 hits and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
In 2033 Carreiro has compiled a 10-17 record with a 3.97 ERA in 33 starts. | | Saturday, September 17th, 2033: Arceniaga Bashes 3 HR for Texas Texas left fielder Esteban Arceniaga sensed he was going to have a good game at the plate, but he underestimated just a little bit. Prior to the game, Arceniaga predicted he would hit a home run against the Toronto Blue Jays.
During batting practice he told his teammates, "I really got my swing down pat. I feel some thunder in the lumber. I'm gonna get me a home run in this game."
He was right. He did hit a home run -- three of them, in fact -- pacing the Rangers over the Blue Jays 10-1.
"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Arceniaga told reporters after the game.
To go along with the homers, he collected 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
E. Arceniaga flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off C. Holden in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off C. Holden in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off S. Hunter in the 7th.
This year Arceniaga has collected a .270 batting average to date with 136 hits in 503 at-bats, 80 RBIs, 21 home runs and scored 68 times. He has played in 140 games. | | Saturday, September 10th, 2033: Texas Blanked by Morel Stephen Morel of the Kansas City Royals was right on target when he blanked the Texas Rangers 1-0, yielded 3 hits and totaled no walks and 3 strikeouts.

In the 2033 season Morel has recorded a 2-16 mark. In 24 starts he has fanned 67 batters in 144 innings with a 5.00 ERA. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 66-96, .407 PCT | | Position in Division | 4th, 31.0 GB | | Record at home | 28-53, .346 PCT | | Record on the road | 38-43, .469 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 5-8, .385 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 19-31, .380 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 18-22, .450 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 48-74, .393 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record in April | 11-13, .458 PCT | | Record in May | 10-18, .357 PCT | | Record in June | 11-16, .407 PCT | | Record in July | 8-16, .333 PCT | | Record in August | 15-14, .517 PCT | | Record in September | 11-17, .393 PCT | | Record in October | 0-2, .000 PCT |
