Thursday, September 1st, 2033: Chicago (A) Reliever Named AL #1 Pitcher
"The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we may have to start inviting him out with us after the games."

Adrián Moreno put together a very solid month to take home the American's top pitching honor in August.

The 21-year-old reliever threw with confidence some veteran's lack. In 13 relief appearances he raked in 8 saves and 11 strikeouts in 16.2 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 0.00 ERA.

This season Moreno has been credited with 28 saves. In 56 relief appearances and 77 innings he has a 5-3 won-lost mark, 2.45 ERA and 68 strikeouts
Friday, July 22nd, 2033: Gui Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Bi-jun Gui was on fire today and sparked his club to a 9-3 victory over the White Sox. The Seattle center fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 5 against Chicago (A) in a fine hitting display.

"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in."

B. Gui singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off J. Wakabayashi in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

This season Gui is batting .309 with 66 RBIs, 59 runs scored and 17 home runs.
