Sunday, November 13th, 2033: José Díaz Wins Best Bat Trophy
José Díaz of the Detroit Tigers proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the American Tony Gwynn Award.

Díaz hit for a .355 average while collecting 225 hits, 50 doubles, 2 triples, 35 home runs, 120 RBIs and scoring 122 times.
Saturday, November 12th, 2033: AL Presents Top Pitcher Trophy
The Detroit Tigers have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's José Reyes, this year's American Roger Clemens Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Reyes compiled a 22-5 record in 32 starts, tallied 270 strikeouts in 230 innings and recorded a 2.03 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .233 batting average against him.
Friday, November 11th, 2033: Rookie Trophy Reeled In by Detroit's Gonzáles
Ernesto Gonzáles's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the Detroit Tigers and today he walked away with the 2033 American Rookie of the Year.

The 25-year-old starter registered a 21-4 record this season in 31 starts. Over 218.2 innings he gave up 179 hits, struck out 218 and issued 40 walks as he held the opposition to a .221 batting average and fashioned a 2.39 ERA.
