Thursday, September 1st, 2033: AL Selects Rookie Star of the Month
Nori Sato is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest American Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.

In August the Minnesota hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .347 average with 42 hits, 9 home runs and 31 RBIs.

This season Sato has hit at a .329 clip and produced 80 RBIs, 29 home runs and 56 runs scored.
Thursday, September 1st, 2033: August's #1 Batter Announced
When Nori Sato stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the American Batter of the Month award.

The young Minnesota right fielder posted a .347 batting average with 9 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Sato also worked pitchers for 3 walks to post a .357 on-base percentage.

So far this year Sato has hit .329 with 29 home runs, 80 RBIs, and 56 runs scored.
Friday, August 12th, 2033: San Diego Blanks Minnesota Behind Fernandez
The San Diego Padres shut out the Minnesota Twins behind the 3-hit pitching of Leandro Fernandez, winning by the score of 4-0 at San Diego Field.

In 2033 Fernandez has compiled a 10-10 mark with a 3.42 ERA.
